Where to put the mods? / The mods do not show up in the mod-list
Windows XP:
You probably put them into the wrong folder. The mods do not belong into "My Documents". Instead you have to put those into
Documents & Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\World in Conflict\Mods\modname
There every Mod has its own modfolder. If "World In Conflict" or "Mods" don't exist, then create them. Modname should be replaced with the name of the mod, it is very important that the foldername has the same name as the .sdf file. So if the .sdf file is called testmod.sdf the files should be placed in a folder called "testmod".
File and Printer sharing:
If file and printer sharing has been turned off after being turned on, the user becomes voided of rights to the shared folder and wic cannot open any of the mods in it. Leaving file and printer sharing on might solve issues.
Names of the shared folder: Shared documents might have another name depending on what language and file management program you use. (In total commander on one of my machines its called "Documents" in Total commander, and "shared documents" in windows explorer)
Windows Vista:
Users\Public\Public Documents\World in Conflict\Mods\modname
or
Users\Public\Documents\World in Conflict\Mods\modname
Again if "World In Conflict" or "Mods" don't exist, then create them. And as above "modname" should be replaced with the name of the mod, it is very important that the foldername has the same name as the .sdf file. So if the .sdf file is called testmod.sdf the files should be placed in a folder called "testmod".
